Future Work/Life is my newsletter in which I explore ideas focused on the future of work and how to design legendary careers. If you find it interesting, please share it!
After a few days off with the kids, I’m back ‘in the office’ today. I’ll be discussing more on what the concept of ‘the office’ means during my chat with Bruce Daisley, which will launch Series 12 of the Future Work/Life podcast this Wednesday.
Before then, I wanted to share something with you.
There are plenty of benefits to hosting a podcast, but the best of them have to be:
You can invite whoever you like as a guest.
You can ask them whatever questions you like (within reason).
So, it occurred to me after the final episode of the recent ‘Best Of’ series that over the past couple of years, I’ve had 100s of hours of time with some incredible business and thought leaders who would, in their day jobs, charge eye-watering fees for their time.
Many of the ideas they’ve shared and that we’ve discussed have shaped my work and will influence my future businesses and career.
It’s been the equivalent of having many world-class coaches.
I did a back-of-a-napkin estimation that the equivalent cost would be £100k+ (but, honestly, it’s probably much more).
And since it would be rude not to share, here are those 12 recent episodes.
(I’ve also included a bonus one with Daniel Pink, which was the trigger for producing the series after receiving such positive feedback when I republished it in March.)
Enjoy learning….
Ollie
